Albers Zeilmakerij has been in existence for over a hundred years with a vision focused on quality and service throughout all those years. The main location of Albers Zeilmakerij is in Ede, where the majority of activities for the transport sector and industry take place. Additionally, Albers has production facilities in Roosendaal and Hoogeveen. The culture is no-nonsense, open, and honest.
Your role
In this position, you are involved in the daily management of the organization. You lead the employees in a coaching and inspiring manner. You report to the management/shareholders. You have daily management responsibility for three locations and provide direct guidance to branch managers and department heads, approximately 10 directly and a total of approximately 60 employees. There are several departments including assembly/field service, advertising, such as large sailmaking, small sailmaking, sewing department.
Your tasks and responsibilities
You are responsible for the optimal operational management of the three locations. You translate strategic goals into a pragmatic business plan and ensure its execution. You manage costs without losing sight of quality and service. You are responsible for the optimal use of resources (material and personnel) and timely project delivery. You keep the business plan up-to-date and monitor the budget established in consultation. You oversee processes, improve them where necessary, and act based on data and facts. You maintain contacts with suppliers and the top 10 customers. You create an inspiring work climate by coaching employees, enabling them to achieve good performance and develop optimally.
Your profile
You have HBO-level education and relevant experience within a production environment, and you have affinity with (production) automation. Down-to-earth mentality and a clear vision.
